Uschi Schulte-Sasse

Founder, USS AviationConsulting

Uschi Schulte-Sasse joined INFORM (Institute for Operations Research and Management GmbH) in 1989 and spent 36 years building their Aviation Division. What started as a single airport project grew into a global leader in resource management optimization for airlines, airports, and ground handlers worldwide.

That experience created a specific kind of expertise: understanding both how ground handling operations function and how the software behind them is built, brought to market, and deployed.

The gap between what a digital system or transformation initiative promises and what it actually delivers in practice remains one of the most persistent and costly challenges in the industry. That's the problem USS AviationConsulting was built to address.

"Aviation runs in my family… kerosene has essentially flowed through my veins since childhood."

What Makes This Different

Pattern Recognition

Extensive observation across multiple operations, not one organization's experience turned into generic advice.

Dual Perspective

Experience on both vendor and operator sides — understanding how software is built and how it's actually used under pressure.

Independent Analysis

No vendor relationships or implementation revenue interests. Advice is aligned with your outcomes, not a product roadmap.

Direct Engagement

Solo expert model — no junior team rotation. You work directly with 36 years of experience, every session.

Cultural Competency

International background with a multilingual perspective, working across European, Middle Eastern, and Asia-Pacific operations.
